Is using velocity better or worse than using ctrl and dragging the clip Once you get used to it , velocity is definitely better. It's easier to control and better than ctrl and dragging the clip. If you mess up as well , all you have to do is drag the line upwards or downwards , etc. Making points and such. Long story short , velocity is much much better , lol.

You can also just use Twixtor, a preset that Me, Chris (lightningxdisaster) and many others use when we want the velocity effect to look a lot smoother. You can PM me on Youtube with which version you have, and I can find you a tutorial on your version xoxo Shelby

OMG, I've always loved this effect, but I've never felt I could get it right. I've always tried it with ctr and dragging like cardcaptorgirl mentioned, but this seems soo much better to work with!! Can't wait to try it out tomorrow! Great tutorial, thank you so much for sharing! ~Marie
