I have this issue with Sony Vegas in which when I put a keygen (I think that's what you call those diamond things) for an effect, it doesn't stay. For example, I'll have a keygen with 100 brighten at point 0, then have a keygen with 0 brighten at point 10. Then, when I close and reopen the project, the second keygen would move to point 5 or something. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you remember to save it?

So you animate the brightness to one clip or you just drop it on the clip and set the settings? Also, when you drop "brighter" on a clip, it is already 100 brightness so you need to choose the deafult one with 0 brightness. You take the def one, you drop it on the clip, you click on animate and you turn in to 100. Then you choose where you want the brightness to end and turn it to 0. Idk if that's the problem you're talking about. It might also be about saving the settings as missrichiestadadina said. I'm sorry, I'm horrible at explaining, but if by some miracle I'm right about what kind of problem you have, I'll help with a better explication.

No, that's not the problem. And I do remember to save it. :/ I'm taking screenshots at the moment!

Here are the pictures! This is how it starts out when I first insert it and put the effect (this time it's gaussian blur). As you can see, I have keygens on both sides, I saved it, everything should be done right. But then I close the project, or Sony crashes. When I reopen the project, it looks like this: It's really annoying! I manage to make it work by fixing all of them to go back to their original place right before rendering, but when it's all funky and in a certain position that's not the end, it gets hard to remember where it's supposed to go! Does anyone know how to fix this? I've had this for the longest time and because it's so annoying, I have to come up with alternatives for when I edit!
