Hmmm... It went pretty fast so it was hard to tell exactly what it was, but it seems to be like a half fade out. It's simple to do! Just go down to the transition mark (where it makes the X) and go to the side line until you see the cursor turn into a curve thingie and right click. A series of transition choices should be seen. I'll post a tutorial as soon as I can get to my computer!

Alrighty! Here with the pictures! Okay, so here is a normal transition set up. Now all you have to do is right click where the blue line in the picture is showing up. (I tried to draw what the cursor looks like but it's horrible. XD) Now you'd come up with a little mini window like this. Click the transition that I have highlighted. Feel free to play with any of the transitions there though! They can look pretty cool! Now it should look like this: The transition on the video track should now be curved down. You should also notice how your video looks darker when you're viewing from the middle of the transition. I hope this helps you! Let me know if you have any questions! ~ Sunny

Can someone explain how they did 1:05-1:07 on the Henry/Anne no light video posted at the top? When Ann flashes black and white and it kind of pulses?

I'd say that's just a clever mix of a colour version of the clip with a "additive dissolve" transition to the black and white version.
