HI! I wanted to know if with Sony Vegas is possible to reduce the background music to a clip. I ask it because I'm making a new video and I wanted to use some sentences but are covered by the music and when I add these to the video the background music is mixed with the other song I choose for the video. So if you can reduce the background please let me know. Thanks.

That's a problem for me too. I usually play around with Track EQ (u have a few presets that might help or you can even do something manually) and Track Compressor (limit levels and stuff). I'm not good at it and if the background noise/song is too loud, you can't do much. Anyone else has some tips for us?

Okay, so what ALWAYS helps is this: (Just follow it exactly) Also add ExpressFX Reverb on default. Now the background should be mostly gone, but there are other little things you can play with if it isn't quite there.
