Hi First of all I want to say this forum seems like a great idea and I'm sure it'll help many people a lot, so thank you for creating it! My question is about Sony Vegas and macs.. I'm moving to another country and can only bring my laptop, which is a Mac and not a Windows machine. So my questions is, does Sony Vegas work for macs? And what kind of converting program works well for macs? The only ones I've found so far converts to horrible quality :/ Thanks in advance x

I do however use a Mac so I can help you with convertors and I've already made a posting about it in the iMovie thread here: viddinghelp.proboards.com/thread/16/help-converting-file-more-friendlyIf Sony Vegas does't work you can still vid, There is iMovie & Final Cut. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, Sony Vegas only work for PC computers with Windows due to its compatibility that Macs don't provide. However, you can install Windows on your Mac by either using Parallels Desktop or Boot Camp. This way, you'll be able to use programs on the Windows desktop displayed on your Mac. I hope that wasn't too confusing!
